2 Amazing Panama City Neighborhoods

In this video, Private Tour guide Mike shows us around TWO popular neighborhoods in Panama City, Panama – Casco Viejo and Panama Pacifico

Casco Viejo, also known as Casco Antiguo or San Felipe, is the historic district of Panama City. Completed and settled in 1673, it was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city, Panamá Viejo in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997.

Panama Pacifico is a popular neighborhood that is a 10-minute drive from downtown Panama City. It has single-family homes, apartments, and an industrial park. Southern hills lead down to bayside beaches, bars, and cafes, as well as resort hotels that are known for their spa facilities and upscale international restaurants.

Panama City is becoming more popular with people of all ages. Panama City has anything you could possibly want or need. The public transportation system, (and Uber) is excellent so it’s easy to live in Panama City without owning a car.
