Playa Banca Affordable Beach Community

Tom and Lisa came on an all-inclusive Panama Relocation Tour. They fell in love with the beach communities around Coronado, Gorgona, and Playa Blanca. When they compared prices, Playa Blanca was about 45% more affordable than Coronado, with the same amazing ocean views and a great beach.

Playa Blanca is about two hours west of Panama City and 30 minutes west of Coronado.

Near the entrance to Playa Blanca, there is a large grocery store, a pharmacy, and a hardware store that also has many household goods. There is also a huge fish market a few miles away. Several restaurants are on the Playa Blanca property, and you’re not far from many other restaurants and shopping options.

Canadian snowbirds especially love the Playa Blanca community because they can fly into the airport at Rio Hato (5 miles away) on weekly non-stop charters from Canada.

Playa Blanca also has an all-inclusive resort on the property. It features the largest saltwater pools in Central America.

Playa Blanca has single-family homes and condos. Rents for a furnished 1-2 bedroom range from $850 to $1100 monthly for a long-term lease.
