Listen to the replay of the March 13, 2021 conference call to learn how you can reduce your upfront costs when moving to Panama. We also discuss things that could increase your costs.
The two biggest expenses will be the first month’s rent and a security deposit for your rental, and the costs to get a Visa. If you rent a 2-bedroom 2-bath house for $900 a month, that will be $1800 in an upfront expense. Of course, if your rent is less than $900, you can reduce your costs, and if your rent is more than $900, it will increase your costs.
Immigration lawyers do not have a set price. Some charge $1500 for a couple to get a Pensionado Visa, and some charge $5000 for one person to get a Pensionado Visa. I know one person who was charged $15,000 for a Friendly Nations Visa, but the price with our attorney would have been less than $5000.
MISTAKES will cost you the most money when moving to Panama.
