There are so many things to do and see in Panama! I love the lush green scenery and cooler weather of the mountains. But, if you like beaches you’re in for a real treat with 1500 miles of coastline to explore.
When you retire in Panama, you’ll always have new places to explore and so many things to do. And luckily, you don’t have to get on an airplane to completely change your scenery. Drive about 1 hour in any direction to enjoy different weather and views.
My neighbor, John Hampton, creates amazing videos all around Panama. Check out the video below of diving near San Blas. The San Blas Islands of Panama is an archipelago comprising approximately 365 islands and cays, of which only 49 are inhabited. They lie off the north coast of the Isthmus of Panama, east of the Panama Canal. The native people living on the San Blas islands are the Kuna Yala indians.
San Blas and its surrounding area is a haven for ecotourists because of its natural beauty.
