David is a very affordable town. Kris lives in a three bedroom two bath house that she rents for $385 a month! Most rentals in David do not include electricity in the rent because it’s hot in David and some people will use their air conditioner a lot while others are comfortable with just ceiling fans.
Kris talks about why she picked Panama and David specifically. She also talks about what her day-to-day life is like living in Panama, including being a bass player in a rock-n-roll band.
David is on the far western side of Panama. It is about 30 minutes to a beach, 30 minutes to the mountains and 40 minutes to the Costa Rica border. David does have a small international airport but they currently do not have flights to North America. David has a small mall with a new larger 400 store mall scheduled to open later in 2020. You can find anything you need in David! And it has a huge public hospital plus two large private hospitals.
