Retire in Panama: Living in Chitre Panama

Moving to Panama literally saved Peggy’s life!

David and Peggy live in Chitre which is in the Azuero Peninsula. Chitre is the largest town in the Azuero Peninsula.

Chitre is an affordable place to live that has 24-hour grocery stores, hospitals, a movie theater, a mall, restaurants, bakeries, and any other amenities you would need.

Watch this video to see how David and Peggy are thriving in Panama! (You could too!) You’ll learn about housing options, driving, shopping, volunteer opportunities, expat get-togethers, and more.

Chitre is only a 10-15 minute drive to several beach communities.

We offer Private Tours of the Chitre area and the Azuero. We also go to Chitre during our all-inclusive 6-day 7-night Panama Relocation Tour.
