The Comfortable Way to Check Out Panama

When you take a Panama Relocation Tour, you’ll ride in a super comfortable bus throughout Panama. It even has reclining seats, a place for luggage storage under the bus, and HUGE panoramic windows so you can take in the fantastic views of Panama.  The bus has a built-in refrigerator which we keep stocked with water and snacks.

Our bus is big enough that you can stand up or walk around on the bus if you need to stretch your legs.  Each seat has its own controls for air conditioning, so you can adjust the temperature to your own comfort level. And each seat has a speaker so you can easily hear the important information about relocating to Panama that you will receive each day during the tour.

The Panama Relocation Tours bus has a really smooth suspension and super padded seats to give you an extremely comfortable ride.

We hire a professional driver to drive the bus (who has been driving buses for 30 years and never had a ticket), so you know you are in good SAFE hands! Even if we could drive a big bus, we would not want to do any of the driving, so we can focus 100% on you and provide you with the information you need to relocate to Panama.

We typically start the day at 9 am.  There are bathroom stops about every 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Just before or right after lunch (or both), you’ll meet with expats and experts each day. During dinner, you’ll meet with expats who live in the area where we spend the night. Speaking of “where we spend the night”, we are usually at the hotel by 4 pm, so you have some pool time before dinner. Each hotel is carefully selected to give you the best possible experience and a good’s nights sleep.

While the bus is rolling, the tour guides are on a microphone at the front of the bus, teaching you all the things you need to know to make a smooth transition to relocating to Panama. Every day there is a new topic. There is plenty of time for questions.

The bus is a rolling seminar about relocating to and living in Panama.

You’ll learn the pros and cons of each location, Visa options, secrets to saving 40-50% on health insurance, finding a rental, getting your pets and household goods to Panama, buying a car, and everything else you need to know to relocate to Panama. You won’t need to take notes because all the information is already in a book which you will receive on the first day of the Tour.

We do not sell real estate, so you will not be subjected to a real estate sales pitch!  Promise!  But we know that you want to see what real estate looks like at various prices in each area, so we will show rentals when they are available to give you an idea of what you get for your money in each area we visit.

Our bus is carefully maintained by our professional driver, the best, most careful driver in Panama!

Check out the comfortable interior.

Everyone on our tours says one of the highlights of the tour is meeting the other tour mates from all over the world. Everyone on the bus has something in common… they are all thinking about moving to Panama….so there is an instant bond between everyone on the tour.

On the first day of the tour, everyone is given a name tag to help them remember the names of other people on the tour. You’ll make many new friends during the tour, and these friends could be your neighbors when you relocate to Panama.

It’s important for you to travel throughout Panama in a big comfortable bus like ours.  Sadly, some tour companies will have you crammed into a tiny van all day which will make you miserable and very sore by the end of the day.

    1. Will I have to worry about worrisome mosquitoes or creepy crawlies if living in Panama.
This is one of many future questions.

    • Jackie Lange says

It depends on where you live in Panama. The lower elevations have more bugs than the higher elevations.

My husband is a UK Citizen. I understand that his stay as a visitor is limited to 90 days. I am a USA Citizen. When we apply for the Temporary Visa will our application enable him to remain beyond the 90 days?

        • Jackie Lange says

Hello Zaharazah. If you apply for the visa before his 90 day tourist stay is up, He will be able to stay in Panama. The temporary Pensionado visa is good for 180 days but you will usually get your permanent visa in 3-4 months. With a permanent visa, you can stay in Panama indefinitely

What is the state of private aviation in Panama? Can I bring a small plane and do you know of any small plane communities? What about ultra-lights like powered parachutes, are they legal to fly in Panama?

    • Jackie Lange says

There are plenty of private planes. I only know 1 expat who had a private plane, it crashed into the Pacific in January killing 2 people. You’ll need to talk to an immigration attorney to find out the rules for bringing planes into Panama.

Can you talk about vaccinations needed for travel to Panama I have reservations for Two in April 15 for a relocation tour with your relocation company

    • Jackie Lange says

No vaccines are required to visit Panama.

  4. Reggie W says

I would like to see African American involvement in your advertising. This seems to be very limited even in your video and comments

  5. Lisa Chandler says

    Hi Jackie,
I am going on your PRT Feb 14-21st and looking forward to it. My question pertains to the luggage I can bring. I read somewhere that we can only bring one carry on size bag of luggage and one small backpack. However, I read about the comfortable bus we will be on and that there is plenty of room for luggage under the bus. Can you let me know if I can bring a little bigger suitcase for the tour?
    Thanks so much.

    • Jackie Lange says

HI Lisa, Thanks for signing up for a Panama Relocation Tour. There is limited space under the bus for everyone’s luggage so you can bring one carry on sized bag and a small backpack. If you have extra luggage, it can be picked up on Saturday morning then shipped to Boquete where it will be waiting for you o Tuesday. On Tuesday, we pay to have your laundry done!
