Lavonda and her husband moved to Panama in 2017. They sailed to Panama on their 44 Gulfstar Ketch boat, arriving at Puerto Lindo at Linton Bay Marina on the Caribbean side of Panama.
They rented until they found a great deal on a 32-acre property with an “off-grid” house they could purchase.
In this video, Lavonda talks about:
* Why they picked this area
* What it’s like to live off-grid in the jungle
* Frequent critters on their property
* Costs of LIving
* Amenities nearby (It gets better every year)
* and more

Dear Jackie,
I am subscribed to zero newsletters because they are not as good and true as yours!
I’ve worked in Panama but never bought property there, YET.
I love your emails. Keep up the amazing work!

Dear Jackie,
My husband and I are looking for the right place close to the beach in Panama. We have been living in the Punta Pacifica area at the Trump for almost a year and are ready for something less city life and busy. Also, a place where people speak a little bit of English. We are trying to learn Spanish, but it has been a challenge with the language barrier. Please kindly advise.
Thank you,
Agnes from Texas

Hello Agnes. There are so many great beach communities west of Panama City. Playa Blanca is an affordable community with a lot of English speakers and many weekly social activities.
