Listen to the replay of this conference call to learn the pros and cons of living in an expat community.

Because English is more widely spoken in an expat community and there are many more amenities, some people prefer to spend their first 6-12 months in Panama in an expat community to make their transition to living in Panama easier. Of course, some prefer to live in an expat community the whole time they live in Panama because there are most social activities.

Others prefer to have a full immersion experience by not living in a community with a lot of other expats.
