Check out our newest video of Ben and Kama who moved from Texas to VOLCAN Panama with their 5 (now 6) children!
There are many families with children in Volcan and it’s ideal for retirees too. They are attracted to the lower cost of living, laid back lifestyle and the freedom to live the way they want to live. Volcan has an affordable bi-lingual international school with tuition as low as $75 a month. Volcan is in the highlands of Panama so it has Spring like weather all year. Since no air conditioning or heating is needed, it helps to keep your electric bill low. In this video, Ben and Kama talk about:
♦ homeschooling
♦ cost of living
♦ affordable health insurance
♦ safety
♦ organic markets
♦ plans for their property
♦ and much more
Ben and Kama have a beautiful property with a few rentals which provide enough income to support them living in Panama. Ben, who is an Architect and Engineer, and Kama are working on subdividing the property to build more rentals and to sell lots to those who want to build a house. They strive to create a development to aid the greater Tierras Altas community, acting as a small business incubator, education center, and entrepreneurial hub. They also encourage integrating off-grid technologies, alternative energy, self-sustaining elements, gardens, aquaponics, and permaculture. Their property has amazing mountain views.

Jackie, we took your wonderful tour several years ago and would have moved to Panama if we were younger. We have enjoy all your emails since then. What a great video by Ben & Kama. I would like to keep up with his project there in Volcan. I was impressed with the area around there on our trip. Perhaps I could follow him on facebook to see the possibility of investing in his area.
Hope this lockdown is over soon so you can get back to your great informative TOURS!
