My family of three (husband, mother and myself) attend the PRT# 234 group tour in February in hopes to find out sweet spot in Panama. We already knew that this country would be our retirement location. We just need to see the lay of the land for settling down. The tour was beyond exceptional.

Our tour actually started with a pick up from Humberto at the airport. He was a very friendly and courteous driver that made our very first experience of Panama enjoyable. A great first impression of genuine hospitality. Our experience of the culture, the people, the many micro climates, and the beauty of the land was far more than what we have seen in the many videos we viewed. Jackie and her team are the best. Very organized from reservations, transportation, tour, food, info delivery on/offline, hotels and so much more.

Our tour guides ‘J’ & JoLynn were outstanding. Very approachable and a wealth of knowledge. They kept the tour engaged and answered all of our many questions. Loved J’s history lesson on Panama. The information received was invaluable. We met great people on the tour as well as many amazing expats sharing their experiences of the country.

Our drivers Jorge & Luis kept us safe while navigating traffic and even protest blockades while finding alternative routes to get us to our next destination. They provided a very comfortable and clean bus. “Boots on the ground ” beats all the information I have read and viewed prior to arriving in Panama. I highly recommend PRT. Money well spent that saved us from a lot of possible mistakes in the long run.

My advice is to take the tour and embrace every part of the experience. Keep an open mind of what Panama could be for YOU, and enjoy the journey.
