Military Retirees Moved to Chapala Panama 15 Years Ago

In this video, Fred and Linda talk about what life is like in Chapala, Panama, about 40 minutes outside of Panama City. They are both retired military, so they can take advantage of the veteran benefits in Panama, including affordable medical care through Tri-Care.

When they moved to Chapala 15 years ago, Chapala had very few amenities, but now everything you could possibly need is readily available.

They picked Panama because it’s more affordable, uses the US dollar, the government is stable, the Pensionado discounts, and the veteran medical benefits.
