Since March, when Panama closed their borders because of the pandemic, Panama Relocation Tours has been hosting weekly conference calls. Sometimes the calls are an interview with someone who lives in Panama and sometimes we do a Q & A conference call. Both calls give you a glimpse of what life is like living in Panama.
The July 2020 Q & A conference call lasted an hour and a half so everyone had a chance to ask their question. We covered many difference topics during the call so you’re sure to learn a lot. Listen to the replay below.
The next conference call is Saturday, August 1st at 5pm Central. I will interview a single lady who moved to Panama. She started a business in Panama too!

UPDATE On PANDEMIC IN PANAMA
Panama’s borders are still closed. Only humanitarian flights arranged by an Embassy can leave Panama or come in to Panama.
Most of Panama is only under a curfew from 7pm to 5am. We are free to go anywhere in our province between 5am to 7pm. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and hardware stores are open. Restaurants are open for pick up or home delivery only (see Block 1 &2 below). Travel between provinces is not allowed.
However, Panama City and Panama Oeste (the province just west of Panama City) are still under a strict quarantine because of the high number of new Covid cases in those areas. These are both very high density areas.
Some areas in Panama, like the Azuero Peninsula, have had very few Covid cases so they have been permitted to open up Block 3 & 4 of their economy. These are low density areas.
As you can see from the chart below, air transportation cannot start until all of Panama is in Block 4 at least.
